Wieder Gerahmtes und Fortschritt / Again something framed and progress

Im Laufe dieser letzten Woche wurden endlich die beiden georderten Rahmen geliefert, die ich schon ungeduldig erwartet hatte. Einmal ein schwarzer Rahmen für meine zweite Witch-Lady (die Ladies sollen ja alle zueinander passen), und dann ein roter Rahmen für das Bild von Inga Palmgren (ich hatte irgendwie nicht wirklich eine tolle Idee); Gott sei Dank passt die Farbe des Rahmens zum Rot des Bildes:

During this last week, the two ordered frames arrived for which I already had been waiting unpatiently. The first one is a black frame for my second witch lady (the ladies have to go be well together) , the second one is a red frame for the picture by Inga Palmgren (I didn't really had another thrilling idea); thanks heavens the colour of the frame goes well with the red of the pic:

Weihnachts-Socke / Christmas Stocking

In einem meiner früheren Posts habe ich angedeutet, dass ich eine der beiden Stickpackungen, die ich von Soed Idee erstanden hatte, begonnen hatte. Letzes Wochenende habe ich mich dann ans Vollenden der Weihnachts-Socke getraut (hier als Packung zu sehen) - ich bin total ungeübt im Umgang mit einer Nadel in der Hand. Aber es kann sich sehen lassen, oder? ;o)

In one of my previous posts I indicated that I started one of the cross stitch kits that I bought from Soed Idee. Last weekend, I dared to complete the Christmas stocking (can be seen here as kit) - I am absolutely inexperienced in using a needle. But it looks quite presentable, isn't it? ;o)

Wie Ihr sehen könnt, ist es eine richtige Socke...! :o)

As you can well see it on the pics, it is a real sock...! :o)

Neuer Start / New start

Ich habe eine neue Silhouetten-Hexe begonnen - es ist noch nicht wirklich was zu erkennen:

I started with a new silhouette witch - there is hardly something to see yet:

Sie wird recht groß. Na, könnt Ihr es erkennen, von wem sie ist? Ich glaube nicht, denn es ist zu schwierig... :o) Diese Lady ist von La Comtesse... Und kann hier gefunden und angeschaut werden. Nur: meine Hexe wird nach rechts schauen... :o) Und ohne Schrift sein.

She will be quite large. Well, can you guess from whom she is? I don't think so, because it is too difficult... :o) This lady is by La Comtesse... And can be found and seen here. Only: my witch will look to the right side... :o) And will be without any writing.

Mr. Hare - 2

Mr. Hare ist nun fertig gestickt und muss nur noch als Aufsteller verarbeitet werden:

Stoff für das Halstuch, Sand und einen passenden Korb habe ich - letzteres dank meiner Mutter - gefunden... :o) Da meine Füllwatte fast zu Ende ist, muss ich heute einen neuen großen Sack kaufen...

I found a fabric for the necktie, sand and a matching basket - the last one thanks to my mom... :o) I almost run out of the fiber fill; so I have to buy a new big sack of it...

Mr. Hare

Um ein wenig Abwechslung in das Hexen-Sticken zu bringen, und es ja auch bald Ostern ist, habe ich mit "Mr. Hare" begonnen - die Vorlage ist von Homespun Elegance:

For a change from stitching witches, and because it is Easter soon, I started with "Mr. Hare" - the chart is by Homespun Elegance:

Ich habe einen Aidastoff mit einer kleineren Zahl (ich glaube 11 ct oder so) genommen. So wird der Hase etwas größer. Geplant ist, daraus einen Stand up-Hasen zu machen (wie auf dem Vorlagenfoto links zu sehen)... :o)

I use a Aida fabric with a smaller count (11 ct or so). That way, the bunny will be a bit larger. I am planning to finish it off as a stand up hare (as shown on the chart photo to the left)... :o)
