Weiter geht's mit meiner Stadt... / A step further with my town...

In der letzten Woche hatte ich nicht viel Zeit zum Sticken, so also ist dies mein derzeitiger Stand der Halloween-Stadt:

During the last week, I didn't have much time to stitch, so this is my current status of the Halloween town:

Einer der Gründe, warum ich nicht viel sticken konnte, ist der: meine Firma hatte am Freitag Betriebsausflug - diesmal nach Dresden. Hier sind einige Fotos:

One of the reasons why I couldn't stitch much, is this: on Friday, my firm made an office outing - this time to Dresden. Here are some pics:

Wir waren Segway fahren, ...

We drove Segway, ...

... wir besichtigten die Frauenkirche und ...

... we visited the Frauenkirche and ...

... ließen uns von unserer Stadtführerin durch den Zwinger führen.

... our guide showed us the Zwinger.

Außerdem waren wir noch im Neuen Grünen Gewölbe - wirklich lohnenswert!

Furthermore, we visited the New Green Vault - it is really worthwhile visiting!

Kleiner Zwischenstand / Intermediate result

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich etwas an der "Halloween-Stadt" von The Primitive Hare weitergestickt:

Ich habe meinen "Kürbis-Stock" noch etwas "verschönert":

I embellished my "Pumpkin stick" a bit:

An jedes "Haar" habe ich noch ein rostiges Glöckchen genäht - so dass es jetzt fröhlich klingelt, wenn man den Stab in die Hand nimmt... :o)

I attached a little rusty bell to each "hair" - so that you can hear now a nice ringing of the bells each time you take the stick into your hand... :o)

Kürbis "am Spieß" und... / Pumpkin "on the spit" and...

 Im Laufe der letzten Woche habe ich eifrig am Design von Notforgotten Farm gestickt - und es ist fertig, so, wie ich es haben wollte. Ich habe die Zahlen und die Flügel weggelassen, denn ich hatte vor, das Design so zu verarbeiten:

During the last week, I stitched eagerly the design by Notforgotten Farm - and it is completed in a way I wanted. I didn't stitch the numbers and the wings, because I wanted to finish the design this way:

Ich habe einen runden Holz-Stab gekauft und schwarz und orange angemalt (heute, in der Hitze des Tages, sind die Acrylfarben und der Lack gut getrocknet :o) ), den Kopf ausgestopft, die Bänder angebracht und die "Haare" angenäht...

I bought and painted a wooden rod black and orange (as seen in the photos) (the acrylic paint dried very fast in the heat of the day :o) ), stuffed the head, fixed the ribbons and sewed the "hairs" to the head...

Außerdem habe ich noch 2 weitere Stickbilder verarbeitet:

Neue Anfänge / New starts

Ich habe kürzlich wieder sooo schöne Stickvorlagen bekommen, dass ich nicht weiß, was ich zuerst sticken soll... Aber das geht sicher (fast) allen Stickerinnen so... :o)

Recently, I got sooo wonderful charts so that I do not know with which I start first... But this is certainly a problem that (almost) all stitchers have... :o)
