An unserem zweiten Tag in England sind wir weit nach Norden gefahren: nach Alnwick, Northumberland. Dort, so hatte ich vorher gelesen, befindet sich das Schloss, das für die Außenaufnahmen für Harry Potter 1 und 2 genommen wurde... :o)
On our second day in England we drove far to north: to Alnwick, Northumberland. There, so I read before, is situated the castle that was used for outdoor shots in part 1 and 2 of Harry Potter... :o)
Und diesen Herren haben wir auch angetroffen:

Für die Kleinsten gab es Flugstunden (gegeben von dem Herren mit dem tollen Hut):
For the smallest ones they gave flying lessons (given by the gentleman with the nice hat):
Wahre Potter-Fans waren auch anzutreffen:

Für die Kinder wurden wirklich viele Aktivitäten organisiert:
For the children, they organised a lot of activities:
Spiele, Basteln, Verkleiden als Ritter...
Games, handicrafts, dress up as a knight...
... Kampf mit dem Drachen... ;o)
... fight against the dragon... ;o)
... Gang durch ein Gruselkabinett!
... walk through a horror show!
Zu meiner Freude sind wir in Alnwick bei unserem Gang durch die Stadt an diesem Geschäft vorbeigekommen:

Ich habe etwas im Geschäft herumgestöbert, aber letztendlich nur einige DMC-Docken gekauft...
I rummaged a bit in the shop, but finally I bought only some DMC skeins...
