Blaues Garn und wieder etwas gewonnen! / Blue floss and I won again!

Es geht endlich weiter mit meinem blauen Weihnachtsmann! Ich habe gestern auf dem Nach-Hause-Weg das passende Garn gekauft (mehrere Docken!) und gestern abend gleich weitergestickt... Ein Bild habe ich nicht, aber ich bin gut vorangekommen und bin schon bei der dritten Schneeflocke (von unten nach oben) der Rückseite! :o)

Finally, I could go on with my blue Santa! I bought the matching yarn (several skeins!) yesterday on my way home and started stitching it right away... I didn' take a photo, but I made some progress and reached already the third snowflake (from the bottom upwards) on the back! :o)

Verlosung / Giveaway

Zwischenzeitlich bin ich mit der Challenge von Lori von Notforgotten Farm fertig, jetzt muss ich es nur noch zu etwas Interessantem verarbeiten... :o)

In the meantime, I finished the challenge of Lori from Notforgotten Farm; now I only have to change it into something interesting... :o)

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich mir mal wieder meine Vorlagen (besonders die zu Halloween passen) durchgesehen - man, das sind eine Menge! Da ich diese in diesem Leben sicher nicht mehr alle sticken werde, dachte ich mir, dass es doch mal wieder Zeit für eine Verlosung ist.

Some days ago, I looked again through my charts and patterns (especially through the ones that go well with Halloween) - wow, I got a lot of them! And because I certainly will not stitch all of them in this life, I thought "it is time for another giveaway".

Ich sticke gerade an einem Projekt, von dem ich hier (oben) ein etwas verzerrtes Bild zeige. Wer mir sagen bzw. schreiben kann, von welcher Firma/welchem Designer das ist, kann sich von den drei folgenden Vorlagen eine aussuchen und mit in den Topf für diese Vorlage hüpfen:

Hier ist nun meiner kleines Freebie:

Inspiriert wurde ich hierzu durch eine kleine Keramikfigur, die ich besitze... :o)

The inspiration for this was a little ceramic figure that I own... :o)

Ich selbst habe ihn natürlich auch gestickt - aber lasst Euch dies gesagt sein: wählt Euren Stoff gut aus, nehmt einen dunklen, keinen hellen, so wie ich... Dann habe ich ein zu dunkles Rot genommen; und der Bart ist nun nicht weiß, sondern grau (weil der Bart in weiß sonst auf diesem Stoff nicht so gut zu sehen gewesen wäre)... Ich denke, ich werde ihn noch einmal sticken, dann aber auf einem dunkleren Stoff... :o) Aber seht selbst:

I myself stitched the Santa, too, of course - but I would like to tell you this: choose your fabric well, take a darker one, not a clear one as I did... Then I chose a red that was too dark; and the beard is not white, but grey (because a white beard wouldn't be so good visible on this fabric)... I think I will stitch him again, but then I use a darker fabric... :o) But see for yourself:

Morgen oder übermorgen werde ich hier ein kleines lustiges Freebie einstellen (kleiner Ausschnitt weiter unten). Die ersten drei, die es sticken und mir ein Foto an meine Emailadresse (siehe mein Profil) bis zum 10. Dezember schicken, erhalten von mir eine von drei Vorlagen - welche genau - im nächsten Post. Die allererste Einsenderin wird außerdem noch etwas kleines Gesticktes von mir erhalten... :o) Internationale Teilnehmer sind willkommen!

Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I will post here a little funny freebie (little sneak peak below). The first three stitchers who stitch it and send me a photo to my email address (c.f. my profile) until 10th December will get one of three patterns - which exactly - wait until the next post. And, furthermore, the very first will get something hand-stitched by me, too... :o) International participants are welcome!

Das Design hat eine Größe von 41 x 46 Kreuzen... Also nicht wirklich groß - sicher ganz leicht und schnell zu sticken... ;o) Also, was denkt Ihr??

The design has a size of 41 x 46 crosses... You see, not really big - surely easy and quick to stitch... ;o) So, what do you think??
