Engel - 1 / Angel - 1

Der Engel von TPS ist nun fertig; jetzt werde ich noch einige Schriftzüge hinzufügen und dann das Ganze zu einem Wandhänger verarbeiten... :o)

The angel by TPS is completed so far, and I will now stitch some words on it and then finish the whole piece into a wall hanger... :o)

Derzeit arbeite ich an einem Engel von Prairie Schooler - Ich werde ihn Engel des Trostes nennen... Ich werde ihn meiner Schwägerin schicken, die bereits zwei schwere Schicksalsschläge erlebt hat: von ihren 3 Söhnen sind bereits zwei verstorben...
Currently, I am working on an angel of Prairie Schooler - I will call him Angel of Consolation... I am intending to send him to my sister-in-law, who had experienced two strokes of fate: 2 of her 3 sons are already deceased...

Alle drei Geschenke sind nun bei den Empfängerinnen angekommen - international ging es genauso schnell wie national (warum braucht unsere Post nur so lange innerhalb des Landes? Keiner weiß es...). Hier nun der Hauptpreis - ein Scheren- und Nadelmäppchen plus ein kleiner Scherenfinder - für Sylvia, auf die das Los gefallen ist:

Finally, all three presents arrived at their destiny - the international mail was as quick as the national mail (why does our postal service needs so much time to deliver a letter within the country? Nobody knows...). Here now the leading price - a scissors and needle case plus a scissors fob - for Sylvia, who was the one who has won:

Das dritte kleine Geschenk kann hier noch nicht gezeigt werden, da Evchen zur Zeit nicht zu Hause ist und ihren Brief noch nicht geöffnet hat... ;o)

The third little present cannot be shown here for the present, because the recipient, Evchen, is not home at present and could not open her letter from me yet... ;o)

Muttertag - Mother's Day

Wow, die Zeit vergeht wie im Fluge - bald schon ist Muttertag...! Gott sei Dank habe ich schon mit einem Geschenk für meine Mutter angefangen:

Das fertige Bild werde ich mit einem Flexi Hoop rahmen, ich habe ein Garn gewählt, das die gleiche Farbe hat wie der Rahmen... :o) Das Bild ist ein Freebie von Plum Street Samplers und heißt "Lovely You"; ich habe es etwas abgeändert - Ihr werdet das fertige Bild bald sehen... ;o)

The finished picture will be framed with a Flexi Hoop; I chose a thread that has the same colour as the Flexi Hoop... :o) The motive is a freebie by Plum Street Samplers and called "Lovely You"; I changed it a little bit - you will see the finished picture within shortly... ;o)
