Fröhliche Weihnachten !!! / Merry Christmas !!!

Sticktechnisch habe ich bisher nur 2 kleinere Weihnachts-Bilder fertiggestickt, aber Fotos hiervon gibt es erst später... :o)

I only stitched two Little Christmas Pictures to this day, but photos can be seen here only at a later point in time... :o)

Wie jedes Jahr möchte ich auch dieses Jahr wieder einige Bilder von meiner Weihnachtsdekoration zeigen - in diesem Jahr halte ich es so wie Tanya (The Sampler Girl): weniger ist mehr. Auch wenn es auf den nachfolgenden Bildern vielleicht nicht so aussieht, aber ich habe in diesem Jahr nicht sooo viel Deko wie sonst herausgeholt - das meiste ist noch in Kisten! :o)

As every year, I would like to show you some pics from my Christmas decoration - this year, I keep things as Tanya (The Sampler Girl): less is more. Even though it may not look like less on the pics that follow, but I have scaled down the decoration stuff - most of it is still in boxes! :o)

Da ich mich eine Weile nicht von der "Stickfront" gemeldet habe, ist es nun wieder mal Zeit, etwas zu zeigen. Aber nein, nichts ist fertig geworden, alles ist noch in Arbeit:

Because I haven't posted anything regarding my stitching for quite some time, I thought it would be great to let you know what I am working on at the moment. But no, there is no finish, only WiPs:

Begonnen hatte ich mit "Dashing Through the Snow" by Birds of a Feather, aber dann hatte ich eine Geschenkidee für meine kleine Großnichte zu Weihnachten - sie ist jetzt ca. ein halbes Jahr alt.

I started with "Dashing Through the Snow" by Birds of a Feather, but then I had a idea for my little great-niece as a Christmas present - she is now about half a year old.

 

Ich fand eine alte Stickpackung für einen Weihnachtsstrumpf in meinem ganzen Stickkram, mit der ich auch gleich loslegte - und das hier ist mein derzeitiger Stand:

I found an old cross stitch kit for a Christmas stocking among all my stitchy stuff, and I started with it right away - and this is my current status:

Neue Dinge / New stuff

 Ich bin froh, Euch mitteilen zu können, dass ich heute nach langer Planung endlich einen Shop auf Etsy eröffnet habe! :o) Dort werde ich immer mal wieder von mir Gesticktes und anderes einstellen...! Wenn Ihr mögt, schaut doch mal hin und wieder vorbei!

Ho Ho Ho !!!

Oh mein Gott, es ist immer dasselbe mit mir: immer, wenn ein größeres Projekt ansteht (d. h. viel zu sticken ist), schreckt mich das irgendwie immer ab... So auch jetzt beim Freebie-Schneemann von Lori... Der liegt jetzt erstmal auf Eis - Schneemänner haben schließlich bis Ende Februar Saison, Weihnachtsmänner jedoch nur bis zum 24. Dezember! So habe ich jetzt vor, einen oder einige Weihnachtsmänner (mal sehen!) zu sticken; ich habe mir schon einige Vorlagen von Birds of the Feather und The Prairie Schooler herausgesucht... :o) Angefangen und auch schon fertig ist der HoHoHo-Weihnachtsmann von TPS (Mini-Karte):

My goodness, it is always the same with me: if a bigger project is started (this means a lot of stitching), it always "frightens" me off it... And this is now the case with the freebie snowman by Lori... He is on hold now - snowmen have their season - after all - until February, but Santas only until 25 December! So, I decided to stitch one or more Santas (we'll see!) in the near future; I already have chosen some charts by Birds of the Feather and The Prairie Schooler... :o) I started and already finished the HoHoHo Santa by TPS (mini card):

Wie ich ihn verarbeite, steht noch in den Sternen! ;o)

How I am going to finish him is written in the stars yet! ;o)

Winter Tyme und ein neuer Start / ~ and a new start

Mein "Winter Tyme" von Notforgotten Farm ist nun fertig - ich hatte einmal im künstlichen Licht der Beleuchtung das falsche Garn gwählt, so dass ich einen Teil nochmals sticken musste... :o/

My "Winter Tyme" from Notforgotten Farm ist finally finished - I once chose the wrong yarn (in the artificial light of my lamp) so that I could frog a part and re-stitched it... :o/

Danach war ich wieder auf der Suche nach einem neuen Motiv - und prompt hat Lori noch ein Freebie eingestellt - HIER.

After this, I was again looking for a new motive - and promptly, Lori published a new freebie - HERE.

Kreuzstich, aber auch mal was anderes / X stitch, but also something different

Zum Abschluss der diesjährigen "spukigen Jahreszeit" habe ich noch folgendes gestickt - "Wicked" von Eszter (Subrosa), ein Freebie (HIER zu finden) - ich liebe es einfach! :o)

To bring a conclusion to the "spooky season" of this year, I stitched the following - "Wicked" by Eszter (Subrosa), a freebie (can be found HERE) - I just love it! :o)

Dann sind mir die 3 Bastelpackungen für Venusmuscheletuis (jaa, so heißt das!), die ich mir mal vor einiger Zeit angeschafft habe, wieder untergekommen. Und da ich am Sonntag gerade in Stimmung war, habe ich mich an einem Etui versucht. Und das ist dabei herausgekommen:

Natürlich kann ich nicht nur "rumsitzen" zu Hause ;o); daher habe ich für mein nächstes Projekt in meiner Vorlagen-Sammlung nach einem neuen winterlichen / weihnachtlichen Motiv zum Sticken gesucht. Gefunden habe ich schließlich dies:

Herbstliches, aber auch schon Weihnachtliches / Some autumnal, but also some festive things

Nachdem nun Halloween vorüber ist und der November begonnen hat, denken jetzt viele schon an das kommende Weihnachtsfest... Ich aber noch nicht! :o) Ich habe noch einige spukige Dinge zu zeigen, die ich am Vorabend von Halloween fertiggestellt habe:

Halloween is over now and the month November started, and a lot of people think of the upcoming Christmas time... But not I (yet)! :o) I would like to show here some spooky things which I finished the day before Halloween:

Zuerst "Autumn", nun doch als Kissen verarbeitet... Ca. 30 cm breit und ca. 17 cm hoch...

First, "Autumn", finished as a cushion... Appr. 30 cm large and appr. 17 cm high...

Nun 2 Prairie Schooler-Motive (1 Mini-Card + 1 Vorlage aus JCS Halloween Magazin):

Als nächstes das Freebie von Niky:

Und jetzt folgen vier Stickbilder, die ich bereits Anfang des Jahres gestickt hatte:

Das Besondere hieran ist, dass ich von einem alten Leinenhemd die Brusttasche ausgeschnitten und das Motiv aufgenäht habe; dann noch ein grünes plüschiges Band herum... Fertig. So kann ich die kleine Tasche mit dem vorhandenen Knopf verschließen... :o)

The special with this is that I used the breast pocket of a linen shirt and sewed the motive to it; then I added a green band... Finished. So I can close the little bag with the button of the shirt pocket... :o)

Auch Nikys Freebie ist endlich fertig verarbeitet - unten mit rostigen Glöckchen.

Niky's freebie is finally finished, too - with rusty little bells at the bottom.

Einiges fertig / Some finishes

Da ich ja eine Weile meine gestickten Bilder nicht weiter verarbeitet hatte, habe ich mich nun am Wochenende darangesetzt. Einiges steht aber noch aus - das werde ich im Laufe der Woche machen, da ich da dann Urlaub habe... (Freu) :o)

Because I haven't finished my stitched pieces for some time, I finished some of them last weekend. But there are still some stitched pieces that need to be finished - which is what I am going to do this week, because I will then be on holiday... :o)
